****WARNING****WARNING****WARNING***WARNING***WARNING***
This patch is filled with a lot of cool stuff.
I think I did a good job equaling out all the weapons
by taking in account their abilities, damage and ammo
requirements. However, some things you may not like.
If you find an ability or weapon too powerful, simply
make a mutual agreement between all the players not to
use it. I really hope you enjoy my patch.

put the key you wish to bind the action to in between
the two " marks. The first line of the config shows
an example.

                      WEAPONS

Chainsaw - Does considerable damage, but the range
sucks. Much better than the axe. Try climbing walls
and riding on ceilings with it. VERY COOL!!!

Morningstar - Does minimal damage, but works very well
as a grappling hook. If you switch to another weapon
while using it you will continue to hang. Great for
sniping from dark upper corners.

Airfist - This weapon is purely defensive. It blows
opponents, boxes, weapons and projectiles away from
you. Great for defense against rockets and grenades
or for pushing opponents into lava. You can use this
in Deathmatch to move items, then pick them up and
they will always respawn there. Also try an airfist
jump to get to places.

Shotgun - It fires slightly slower than before, but
has a smaller grouping to do more damage at long range.
It still requires one shell per shot.

Sawed-off Shotgun - The number of shot is increased,
but the range is very short due to it's large spread.
It still requires two shells per shot.

Vampiric Nailgun - It fires two nails per shot that do
average damage, but regenerates your health, raising it
by half the damage it causes. It requires two nails per
shot.

Flamethrower - This weapon throws flames at your
opponents that may start them on fire. If on fire, they
slowly take damage until they die or immerse themselves
in water. Has a medium range and uses nails to fire.

Sniper Rifle - This weapon does 500 damage per shot and
goes right through targets after damaging them!!! However,
the reload time is SLOW and it's hard to hit a moving
target. This weapon also produces no flash for other
opponents to see. So have fun in dark corners. This weapon
requires five nails per shot.

Grenade Launcher - You can now choose the length of time
for your grenade to explode. Simply use the command
"temp1 -2" with -2 meaning -2 seconds from the standard
2.5 seconds, making them explode in 0.5 seconds, etc.
The damage is also slightly increased. It still requires
one rocket to fire.

Radio Tag Bombs - This shoots grenades which stick to
other players or stay where they are thrown. They are
inert until you use an impulse command to detonate them.
It requires two rockets per shot.

Cluster Grenades - This weapon does awesome damage. It
fires one grenade which bursts into many other grenades.
Watch out for the radius of this weapon. It requires
five rockets per shot.

Rocket Launcher - The firing rate is slightly
decreased. It still requires one rocket to fire.

Guided Missiles - Allows you to guide your missiles to
their target. You can even set it's speed while in flight.
This is cool if you can find a good spot to hide while you
seek out your enemy. This weapon does not illuminate your
player while firing. It requires two rockets for each missile.

Homing Missiles - These automatically seek out any
opponents that it can "see". Fire it and laugh when
they try to shake it. Each missile requires five rockets.

Lightning Gun - Does somewhat less damage, but firing it
into water now harms the players in the water. Still has
the same ammo requirements.

Positron Beam - VERY powerful weapon. Fires a beam which
explodes on contact doing heavy damage in a good radius.
It requires five cells per shot.

Mini Cannon - Great for shredding opponents. Has a very
fast rate of fire, but drains ammo in seconds. Requires
one shell per shot.

Gatling Gun - This weapon shoots FAST. Great for dealing
with moving targets, but saps the ammo quickly. Requires
one nail per shot.

Laser - Fries your opponents with laser beams. This
weapon shoots incredibly fast, but eats ammo like candy.
It requires one cell per shot.

                       OTHER STUFF

Teleporting rounds - Various weapons can go through
teleporters. Especially cool with the guided missiles.

Anti-camping - Can be turned on/off with an impulse.
Checks for campers and teleports them if they continue
to camp. Campers also lose lose some life.

Heads-up Display - Lets you play without the bar on the
bottom by displaying current health and armor at the top
of the screen after taking damage.

Health Fix - All unused health in health boxes stays in
the box for later use.

Flashlight - Gives you a flashlight to light up the darkness.

Tripwires - Sets beams of electricity which do great
damage to all who pass through them. Costs two nails
and 25 cells per use.

Motion Detectors - These fire nails at any player in
range causing considerable damage over time and explodes
if a player gets close to it or it runs out of nails.
This will not target it's owner. Each detector costs
25 nails and one rocket.

Decoys - Create decoys that look exactly like you and
fire at opponents when in sight. Decoy explodes when killed.
Very good item to mess with your opponents minds. Also,
with an impulse commandyou can switch places with your decoys.
Uses 25 cells, 25 shells and one rocket per decoy.

Portals - You can generate portals through small walls which
you can then walk through. Great for surprising campers.

Ridicules - Let your opponent hear how you feel. Ten
different sayings to taunt your enemies with.

Chasecam - Gives a third-person style of play. Cool for
single play or checking out the chainsaw model.

Store Powerups - Now when you pick up powerups you save
them for later use. You can use them whenever you want
with an impulse command.

Nightvision - This is a very cool item. It shuts out all
lights for your opponents but not for you. This is
awesome, and your opponents can still use their flashlights.
Requires fifty cells to use.

Drop Ammo/Weapons - You can drop weapons and ammo for
either to give to teammates or to pick up later.

Item Randomizer - All items in Deathmatch respawn randomly
to deter camping near one item or powerup.

Starting Ammo - Starting ammo is changed. You spawn with
the Chainsaw, Airfist, Morningstar and Shotgun, but have
no ammunition.

Ammo Cache - You can now store 200 shells, nails, rockets
and cells.

Armor - All armor absorbs 50% damage, and the amount of
armor is now changed. Green armor gives you 25, Yellow
gives 50 and Red gives 75. All armor adds to your current
total up to 200 armor maximum.

Trick Backpack - For 50 shells you can throw this backpack.
When it's picked up by a player it takes away all their ammo,
armor and weapons. Great way to piss off opponents.

Leech Armor - This costs 50 nails. It looks like armor, but
when it's picked up it slowly drains health from the player
until they pick up real armor or they go below five health.
This is a very fun item since the items are randomized making
it hard to quickly find some armor.

Many other small things are changed too. See if you can
figure all of them out. Have fun, enjoy my patch, and
please e-mail me with your thoughts and suggestions.
